Meaning of Shlok:

I seek the protection of the Lord of the Universe,

Who lives happily in the Forest of Joy,

Who is the Basis of all Happiness,

Who destroys all accumulated sins,

Who is the Lord of the Holy City of Varanasi,

and Who is the Lord of all who does not have anybody.

Meaning of Sri Vishwanath Gayatri Mantram:

I meditate upon Lord Sri Vishveshwar,

also known as Sri Vishwanath,

the Consort of Mother Gauri,

the Lord of the entire Universe.

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai is the

Very Embodiment and Personification of

Lord Sri Vishwanath dwelling as Jyotirlingam

in the sacred Kashi or Varanasi or Banaras.

Meaning of Bhajan and Dhoon:

I pray and worship the beautiful Jyotirlingam

of Bhagavan Sri Kashi Vishwanath,

the Consort of Mother Uma or Parvati,

Who dwells with Her on the holy bank of

river Ganga in Varanasi.

Mother Annapoorneshwari too,

dwells there in Her beautiful form.

Sri Vishwanath is the One,

Who is full of attributes so also attributeless.

He wears the skin of tiger,

He is three-eyed.

There is no second Lord than Sri Vishwanath.

His matted hair are too beautiful and pleasing.

He assumes the form of Shakti,

at sacred Mani Karnika Ghat,

on the bank of river Ganga.

I prostrate upon the Holy and Divine

Lotus Feet of Lord Shiv,

Who has different names such as:

Vishveshwar, Ratneshwar, Tilbhandeshwar

Kaal Bhairavam, Mrutyunjay and Sankat Mochan.

He has been highlybpraised by Rushi Ved Vyaas and

Goswami Tulsidas in Sri Ramcharit Maanas.

He shines with an effulgence of the light of twelve Suns.
